About THW
The Hockey Writers is a collective of some of the finest hockey journalists around. We take great pride in the quality of our work; it has been a hallmark of our site since day 1.
THW was conceived in early January 09 as a means of bringing together 30+ non-mainstream writers , each covering one NHL club and providing a constant stream of behind the scenes information, opinionated editorials and a general platform for discussing the day-to-day events that make up the game we love. The site has blossomed beyond my original expectations due to the terrific writing of our contributors. We now feature multiple writers per NHL club with many of them inside NHL locker rooms, at practices and speaking with those in the know on a daily basis. We continue to accept applications though our openings are few. You can read a bit more about joining here.
