No one nose when Alexander Steen will return.

No one nose when Alexander Steen will return.

Alexander Steen, injured in a seemingly light check along the boards, left last night’s 2-1 OT loss in Phoenix.  He must have been checked at just the right angle, because Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post Dispatch is reporting that he is not making the trip to Anaheim:

Alex Steen suffered what appeared to be a hand or wrist injury in the third period. There is speculation that Steen has a broken bone. He is not making the trip to Anaheim.
Specifics should be forthcoming, and I will post them when I hear what exactly is wrong with the Steener.  Come back soon, Schnozz.  You’re one of our strongest forwards so far this season.

UPDATE: Per ESPN, Steen is out for 6-8 weeks with a broken wrist. It begins again…
