Dearest NHL – I Miss You, When Will You Be Coming Back?

There’s plenty of blame being tossed around these past few months. Lots of damage being done, lots of game playing – just not on the ice where it belongs. We got a taste of top tier hockey while watching the World Junior tourney but it was only a taste. Janne Makkonen reminds us all of what we’re missing, why we love not just hockey but NHL hockey. Some may say screw the NHL, there’s still plenty of hockey being played. Maybe there is but come on – it’s just not the same level of play. When the world’s best are scattered to the winds the other leagues will have to do – but they are not the NHL.

Come on back boys – we’ve missed you. (and thanks for the reminder of why Janne!)
