Eric Brewer Returns Tonight

robot2Per the Blues’ official Twitter feed, Eric Brewer is making his first appearance in almost a year against Phoenix.  After last night’s impressive showing against Carolina, I’m a little concerned about him messing up momentum and chemistry and whatnot.

Because if there’s something Brewer is known for, it’s chemistry.  I hope that his return is successful, but I’m having visions of a turnover or two, standing around, and a possible blown circuitboard.  Glad that he’s not hurt, really, but we functioned well without him.  I am guessing that he’ll be paired with Petro (Carlo’s got the flu), which might mean that Strachan sits tonight.  Who knows.  Andy Murray’ll have random pairings on the ice anyway.

Since this is the second half of a back-to-back, Conkliln should be in goal again tonight.  Mason was strong last night, but with Conklin right there, either one of them will give us a chance to win.
