First NHL 17 Gameplay Trailer Released

At the NHL Awards on Wednesday night, EA Sports released the first gameplay trailer for it’s upcoming NHL 17 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The trailer features a look at a number of gameplay features, including new goaltending and puck mechanics. It also showcases some of the game’s updated visuals, including a fully scanned Jack Eichel and Phil Kessel.

Fans can get a first peak at the new uniforms of the Florida Panthers in the game, and they look just as good as the real things. Oh yea, and the ageless Jaromir Jagr doesn’t look a day over 40 in the trailer.

Check it out for yourself below.

NHL 17 launches on September 13, and is available for pre-order now. Should you want to save money, Amazon Prime members receive a 20% discount on the title, putting the deluxe version at just $64.  The Hockey Writers will have full coverage of the game throughout the summer and beyond its launch.
