Florida Panthers Announce 2013 TV Schedule

SUNRISE, FL – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment and FOX Sports Florida announced today the complete Florida Panthers’ 2013 NHL regular season broadcast schedule featuring all 48 games broadcast in HD on the FOX Sports Florida family of networks.

FOX Sports Florida, the regional television home of the Panthers, will broadcast 42 games, while their sister station, Sun Sports, will serve as the home for six games in April due to the start of the baseball season and the Miami Marlins’ broadcasts.

Tune in to FOX Sports Florida on January 19th at 6:30 p.m. for a special one hour edition of the PANTHERS LIVE pregame show broadcast from the JetBlue Tarmac outside of the BB&T Center. The puck will drop for opening night at 7:30 p.m. after the Panthers raise their Southeast Division banner into the rafters in what is expected to be a great ceremony.

The play-by-play duo of Steve Goldstein and NHL veteran Bill Lindsay return as game analyst with the goal of providing viewers with expert commentary throughout the 2013 season. Frank Forte and Allison Williams will also be returning to broadcasts as the hosts of the pregame and post game show, PANTHERS LIVE.

In an effort to bring fans closer to their favorite players and the team, the popular INSIDE THE PANTHERS series will return this season. The series features player profiles and offers fans behind-the-scenes access to interesting aspects of the team and its everyday operations. It is reported that Panthers’ star rookie Jonathan Huberdeau will be the subject of the first INSIDE THE PANTHERS this season.

It is important to note that even after winning the Southeast Division last season, the Panthers have no nationally televised games this season, so Fox Sports Florida and Sun Sports will be the only television outlets for Panthers’ fans to get their hockey fix this season.
