Fredrik Mosin of the Columbus Blue Jackets is expected to start the season on the Injured Reserves. He has a sprained right knee that occurred in a pre-season game versus the Minnesota Wild September 18th. Coach Ken Hitchcock said today that Modin will be out for 10-14 more days.
Jason Chimera, also injured in the same game, is expected to start this Saturday (opening day) versus the Minnesota Wild at Nationwide Arena.
