  1. If you want your team to win a Cup then you don’t want them to carry a “heavy” nor fight all that frequently.

    LA Kings = no heavy, 21st in fighting majors.

    CHI Blackhawks = no heavy, 27th in fighting majors.

    The game is changing.

  2. Why “blame” anybody for fighting in the NHL? how many people watch MMA matches, which is just a couple guys beating the holy hell out of each other? It’s an air of excitement and unpredictability. It’s about players policing themselves and solving problems instantly. Can we stop making a manly game so frigging PC, please?
