Honored to be Covering the New Jersey Devils

Good afternoon hockey fans! My name is Brett Bodner and I’m a high school senior from Jersey. Ever since I was a child, I have always been a die hard New Jersey Devil fan and this is the team I will be covering here on THW. I have written articles for Bleacher Report, where I covered the New Jersey Devils, New York Jets, and New York Mets. I am currently Co-host of an online radio show with Greg Caggiano who writes for the New York Rangers. On the show we discuss happenings around the NHL and of course some Devils/Rangers talk. I have been watching New Jersey Devils hockey for twelve years and I must say that I love my team. I remember the first Devil game I ever went to in 1998. The Devils trailed the Florida Panthers 3-2 late in the third period, when Randy McKay tied the game and forced overtime. The game ended in a tie, but I will always remember that game because from that moment on I knew I loved this team. Win or lose, the Devils are my team.

I look forward to writing many New Jersey Devils article here on THW. I will be writing game previews, recaps, opinions, and informational articles. I will try to publish an article daily or as often as I can.

It is my dream and career goal to one day become a journalist and/or a writer. This is a step towards my dream, which I hope to one day accomplish.

Now, I will admit that I don’t know everything when it comes to hockey, but I’m always learning new aspects and information about the game. Additonally, I look forward to reading other articles and learning about the other teams in the NHL. I’m open to all arguments and points made by the readers of my articles. I like my articles to be truthful,informative and entertaining and funny at times.
