Defenseman Rostislav Klesla signed a 4 year contract extension with the Columbus Blue Jackets prior to the home opener versus the Minnesota Wild. The contract runs through the 2013-2014 season and nets him 2.975 million per year. He stamped an exclamation point on the extension by scoring the game-winning goal against the Wild, with the final score CBJ 2, MIN 1.
