Milestone Alley: Anaheim Ducks Edition

Welcome to Milestone Alley, an exclusive THW series that will take a look at upcoming milestones throughout this year’s NHL offseason. The numbers will be crunched and broken down into three separate categories – individual player achievements, franchise milestones and a list of players that rank among the top 100 in NHL history in any major statistical category.

To kick it off, we’ll look at the Anaheim Ducks. Since entering the league in 1993, some interesting names have had the opportunity of playing for the Ducks. From the Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya days to today’s duo of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, Anaheim remains a ‘mighty’ team in the league’s Western Conference.

A lineup filled with both veteran and young talent, the Ducks are a team that will be continually celebrating individual milestones during the 2016-17 season. From games played to goals and even goaltending wins, Anaheim’s sights aren’t specifically set on the individual milestones. Regardless, as the seasons progress, the numbers grow and milestones simply become part of the game.
