Quick Introduction…

I’ll be covering the St. Louis Blues from here on out… I’m sure that everyone enjoys the linked up AP/Canadian Press news article list on here, and will be really sad to see it go. I’ll be handing out tissues in a second.

I am a freelance blogger for both the St. Louis Blues and the Atlanta Thrashers (I’m from StL, but live in the ATL) over at my site, Wazzupwitchu.  I also write a weekly feature over at St. Louis Game Time called “Tuesdays With Hildy,” which tackles hard hitting issues such as which team Blues fans need to hate more – Detroit or Chicago, and more broad hockey topics like if the plus/minus rating is useful and such (there will be an upcoming article on the wonders of the trapezoid.  Stay tuned!)  I’ll pop up occasionally on Cycle Like the Sedins whenever they need a feature on the Blues (and occasionally Thrashers), and I’ll be part of the upcoming Central Division preview on View From My Seats.

I’m thoroughly excited to be your new Blues correspondent, and don’t worry – even though I’m not local to the St. Louis area any more, you’ll never tell a difference.
