I lived in Winnipeg in the early 1990s and that season was by far my favourite hockey memory. I must have went to about half of Winnipeg's home games that year and it seemed like Selanne could score at will. Seeing some footage of those goals makes me sad that we lost our franchise and didn't get to witness the rest of Selanne's great career but I am glad he went to a great organization like Anaheim instead of going to Phoenix. Teemu has always been super classy to the city of Winnipeg, returning several times after the move, and hopefully the Manitoba Moose organization can honour him at some point in time. But goes to show that this many years after the crazy rookie year, Teemu is still producing. I loved is 76th goal celebration. Priceless.
