The Florida Panthers Eat Fresh

Sunrise, FL – In an effort to accommodate a more health conscious America, Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Subway Restaurants has joined the organization as an official marketing partner of the Florida Panthers and the BB&T Center.

BB&T Center

The multi-year partnership is Subway Restaurant’s first arena partnership in the South Florida area and is highlighted by a new Subway restaurant outside the BB&T Center’s section 109 featuring a recognizable menu of Subway’s most famous meals including sandwiches, salads, pizza, fresh fit choices, and more.

Larry Feldman and Eric Sacks, the Subway Development Agents in South Florida, told the media: “we are extremely excited to begin this great partnership with the BB&T Center and to have the well experienced team of multi-unit Subway franchisees Jimmy Jamil and Hummair Humar to represent Subway.”

Panther’s SSE President Michael Yormark also commented on the team’s latest edible acquisition: “We are thrilled and excited that Subway has chosen the BB&T Center as its first arena marketing partnership in South Florida.”

He continued,“Clearly, Subway sees the value in partnering with a world-renowned arena venue that attracts a wide-ranging schedule of concerts, shows and sporting events with a large and diverse clientele. Additionally, we are thrilled that BB&T Center guests – notably kids and families – will have even more concession options, including Subway’s renowned famous foot longs and fresh healthier choices, every time they visit the BB&T Center.”

In return for their partnership, Subway should benefit greatly through team related exposure and a fully integrated brand activation package that will include in-arena and in-game signage, advertising through SSE’s print, radio, television, and online assets and more.

For the foreseeable future Panthers’ fans will now have the unique option of being able to put down the nachos and the hot dogs when they attend games and choose a healthier option if they they’d like. The BB&T Center will continue to provide an excellent destination to watch hockey games this season as the arena continues develop and grow through savvy marketing and progressive partnerships like this one today.
