The event will take place Saturday and Sunday November 14 and 15 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center and the holy grail of trophies will be in attendance both days for people to take photos with.
While the Stanley Cup may be cause for excitement, there will be many other great attractions and exhibits to pique the interest of even the most casual sports fan. Whether you’re interested in gaming, art or just learning more about the game Western New York loves the 2009 Western New York Hockey Expo will have something for you.
The Expo will be the house to an extensive lecture series where both hockey and medical experts will discuss many important youth hockey issues. A tentative list of the guest speakers is posted at www.wnyhockeyexpo.com.
If listening to lectures is not exactly your cup of tea, than how about an NHL10 xbox360 tournament? Thanks to Game Crazy the Expo will be hosting a 32 team tournament on Saturday starting at noon. To sign up for the tournament and to see the official rules check out the WNY hockey expo website.
As mentioned earlier there is something for everyone at the Western New York Hockey Expo, including the Albright Knox Art Museums “Art in Hockey” exhibit. This will be displayed in prominence at the Expo and is sure to indulge anyone’s “inner-artist.”
