THW Live: Hacking With Haggs?

It is nice to be back again. The last few weeks have been a little hectic to say the least. The Sunday night edition of THW Live will be a special 90 minute episode. Since there will not be a show until after Thanksgiving, it seemed the proper time to expand a bit for a holiday installment. This truly has been a strange week in the world of hockey and as always, our goal is to bring it all to you with the candor you would expect from The Hockey Writers.

A long time has passed since we had a guest join us. We thank everyone for their patience as it took time to recover from Superstorm Sandy but this week we decided to go for a true heavyweight in the business. Tonight we have Joe Haggerty of CSN – New England and “occasional on-air talent” as he likes to call himself on with us. Needless to say, Mr. Haggerty is opinionated and not afraid to speak his mind. When you combine that with four like minded individuals, the seeds are set for some fireworks.

The outline this week was a little up in the air and then it became rather easy. It is funny how these things work. What do we have on tap for this week’s show? Let’s take a look.

  • Introduction Time
  • Say hello to Mr. Joe Haggerty…..
  • As The CBA Slowly Turns…and we mean slow….
  • Hello Dad.
  • The Hockey Writers plug time!
  • My trip to the Devils Alumni Game
  • Turkeys For The Turkey: Bettman/Fehr?
  • Thanksgiving Tidings
  • We head into the Overtime!

Hopefully we can bring you the turkey and all the trimmings on this expanded episode. Also do not be surprised if we included more on the fantasy leagues that suddenly matter more and more with the absence of  the top league. We will make you laugh and maybe tug at your heart a little on this tenth show.

As always the show can be found on a variety of places but the Blog Talk site is probably the best way to find the unedited version. Our edited version can be found on The Hockey Writers site itself. We look forward to see you on the show Sunday night at 8pm ET. Thanks again for being so patient.

Sincerely,

Chris Wassel
