Who’s Been Naughty, Who’s Been Nice – Phoenix Coyotes Edition

In true holiday fashion and keeping with the whole Santa tradition, here’s my Naughty/Nice list for the Phoenix Coyotes..

Nice

Shane Doan
For being an amazing leader and for recently playing his 1000th game

Ilya Bryzgalov
Tremendous goaltending has put the Coyotes on the map (5th shutout and leading the pack!)

The NHL for seemingly wanting hockey to work in the desert.

Martin Hanzal
For stepping in and defending smaller teammate Vrbata after a little roughing with a salty Blue Jacket on Monday night..he even gave a little blood

Scottie Upshall/Matt Lombardi
The dynamic duo are tallying up assists and goals left and right

Kevin Porter for allowing himself to be a human yoyo from the Rampage up to the Coyotes and back again and playing hard each time

The few but rabid Coyotes fans who keep spreading the word!

Naughty

Ed Jovonovski
He must have done something bad to have all those “lower body” injuries.

Potential buyers Ice Edge Holdings for still wanting the guys to play a few games in Canada.

Peter Mueller
For waiting so long this season to show us what he is capable of. Chalking up 2 assists in Wednesday night’s game alone, keep it up Pete

The city of Phoenix for still not recognizing what a great group of guys we have (the attendance is the proof)

Paul Bissonnette
Because when it comes to this scrapper, it just feels so good to be that bad
