Wings/Blues Highlights: It Wasn’t Pretty, But It Counts

This game featured some nasty goals, questionable goal-tending (I’m being nice here) and a first period that saw both teams fire a total of *cough* five shots. Combined. All that was needed was a few fights, some slapstick comedy (Manny Legace pissing all over himself after Hossa’s first goal would suffice), and Paul Newman and it would have been a pretty good remake of Slapshot.

Oh, and don’t forget Denis Lemieux.

“You do that, you go to the box, you know. Two minutes, by yourself, you know and you feel shame, you know. And then you get free.”
