Marc-Andre Fleury is half way to making it an all-Penguins sweep of the You Vote: Best NHL Player series. Fleury finished round one with a total of 24 votes, making him the favourite going into the second and final round of voting for the You Vote: Best NHL Goalie series.
Fleury appeared in 65 regular season games. He finished with a record of 36-20-5, a save percentage of .918, and a goals against average of 2.32.
Also moving on to the second round is Tim Thomas. The 37-year-old Bruins goalie had a record of 35-11-9, a save percentage of .938 and a GAA of 2.00 in 57 games during the regular season. Thomas now finds himself competing for the Stanley Cup in this year’s Final.
Last but not least is the other Stanley Cup Final goalie: Roberto Luongo. The native of Montreal, Quebec had a 38-15-7 record, .928 save percentage and 2.11 GAA in 60 regular season games.
Round two voting is underway and will end June 3 at 8:45 PM EST.
