Kris Letang came away with the most amount of votes in the You Vote: Best NHL Defenceman series, making him the winner.
After taking the first round with a total of 18 votes. His 26 second round votes put him at the top once again, making it a Pittsburgh Penguins sweep through the first two series of voting. A total of 40 people voted in the second round, meaning Letang held an outstanding 65 percent of the votes.
Letang, 24, played in all 82 games during the regular season. He finished with eight goals and 42 assists for a total of 50 points, along with a plus-15 rating.
With forwards and defencemen behind us, it’s time to move on to the goalies. The goalie position is arguably the most challenging to play; a lot of netminders are even leaned on by their team.
Voting for the best NHL goalie of the 2010-2011 regular season is underway, and will continue until June 2 at 6 PM EST.
