Game Recap
The scoring started early and often in the opening period, as four goals were scored in the first 15 minutes of the hockey game. Robertson scored his 25th goal of the season at 4:21, off a Thomas Harley rebound for the early 1-0 lead.
Foegele tied it up for the Kings at 6:44. Philip Danault caught a Mikey Anderson shot-pass, and slid the puck to Foegele, who shot into a wide-open net for his 17th goal of the season.
Duchene continued his strong campaign with a power play goal at the crease, which restored the Stars’ 2-1 lead. Right after that same power play expired, Stankoven scored his eighth of the season on a rebound in front of the net to give the Stars the 3-1 lead after 20 minutes.

The power play stayed hot for the Stars in the second period as Johnston scored with the man advantage at 4:57, with a tip-in, again at the top of the crease, from a Harley shot at the blue line.
Moore brought the lead to within two goals at 13:51, beating Oettinger on a wrap-around at the post.
Stankoven scored his second of the night at 4:06 of the third period, on yet another net-front play, on a rebound, for his 9th of the season.
Steel put salt in the wound, with a backhand shot on a breakaway, beating Kuemper glove-side for his sixth of the season, and the 6-2 win.
The Kings had 31 shots, and went 0-for-4 on the power play. The Stars had 32 shots, and went 2-for-3 with the man advantage.
