The Stockton Heat, AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, have announced the signing of five players for the 2016-17 season.
Those players include former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Mike Angelidis, whose signing was reported in early August, and once touted prospect Matt Frattin who has bounced around between teams regularly in recent years.
Frattin has spent the last two seasons with the Toronto Marlies and didn’t see any NHL time last year. Through 135 career NHL games he has scored 17 goals and 18 assists.

The team also signed Ryan Lomberg, Roman Dyukov and Jamie Devane, who was given a PTO to come to training camp with the Flames earlier this summer.
Devane was a third-round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2009. He spent last season playing in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals where he put up six goals and 11 points.
Lomberg spent 15 games with Stockton last season and grabbed 43 games in the ECHL with the Adirondack Thunder. Dyukov, a defenseman, spent last season playing in Belarus.
