Tom Castro

I grew up as a New York Rangers fan and general fan of the NHL in White Plains, NY, and have been preparing for and then pursuing a career in sports media ever since. I've worked for THW covering the Rangers and other NHL topics since 2018, and before that I spent 10 years with STATS LLC, a sports journalism and data company in the Chicago area. Prior to my time with STATS, I worked for a decade as a writer and editor for The Associated Press in New York City, covering the NHL along with numerous other sports. My career began with a stint as a reporter with a suburban New York Gannett local newspaper, for which I covered the Rangers and Devils, along with other area pro teams.
