The Dallas Stars (51-19-4) won their sixth straight and finished their road trip with a 4-0-0 record after beating the Seattle Kraken (40-28-7) 3-1 on Monday night.

Matt Duchene, Wyatt Johnston, and Mikael Granlund scored for the Stars. Casey DeSmith made 36 saves.
Kaapo Kakko scored for Seattle, while Philipp Grubauer made 28 saves.

This game took all of 62 seconds to see a goal. Kakko took a feed from Jaden Schwartz and took a wide-open shot from the low slot.
Duchene answered for the Stars 90 seconds later, redirecting a Mason Marchment shot for his 29th goal of the season.

The furious start continued as Johnston scored his 30th goal of the season 45 seconds later, which put the Stars up 2-1 just 3:19 into the first period. Johnston has now scored in five straight games.
Both netminders locked it down after that as both sides remained off the scoresheet until Granlund flung the puck into an empty net from his own end at 18:53 of the third period. The Stars won their second straight game against the Kraken 3-1.
The Kraken outshot the Stars 37-31, and both teams went 0-for-3 on the power play.

The Kraken are back in action on Wednesday, when they head north of the border to take on the Vancouver Canucks. The Stars have a couple nights off before hosting the Nashville Predators on Thursday night.
