Winnipeg Jets’ prospect Kieron Walton has signed a three-year entry-level contract, as per PuckPedia.
Walton 18, was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft at 187th overall. The left-shot centre, standing at a towering 6-foot-6 and weighing 216 pounds, had a dominant breakout season in his third campaign for the Ontario Hockey League’s Sudbury Wolves, piling up 38 goals and 54 assists for 92 points in 66 games along with 43 penalty minutes.

He also had one goal and four assists for five points in four first-round playoff games, but the Wolves were swept by the Kingston Frontenacs. With his OHL season done, he could report to the American Hockey League’s Manitoba Moose for the four games remaining in their season to make his professional debut.
Walton’s 92 points were best on the Wolves and were more than double the 43 he recorded in 2023-24. His three-year deal carries an NHL average annual value of $858,000.
