The Arizona Coyotes have invited defensemen Keith Aulie and Corey Potter to tryouts at training camp, the team announced on Tuesday.
Aulie, 26, spent last season with the Edmonton Oilers posting a single assist in 31 games. He also posted a -4.7% score-adjusted CF%Rel with a 43.8% score-adjusted CF%. The prior season with the Tampa Bay Lightning Aulie had a -8.9% score-adjusted CF%Rel.
Potter, 31, spent a little time with the Calgary Flames last year, grabbing six NHL games. In total he’s played 129 NHL games split between the Flames, Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs.
This announcement came just before the Coyotes made a trade with the Colorado Avalanche late Wednesday night, bringing in Stefan Elliott and sending Brandon Gormley to Colorado.
