2016 draft eligible prospect Jesse Puljujärvi is among the top prospects entering the 2016 draft. He’s right there with much-talked about prospects like Matthew Tkachuk, Jakob Chychrun and Auston Matthews.
To start the 2015-16 season — and things can change quickly — he’s ranked inside the top five draft eligible prospects by Future Considerations, ISS Hockey, Hockeyprospect.com and other outlets. (He was ranked #3 in The Hockey Writers’ preliminary 2016 rankings.)
Like Matthews, Puljujärvi is playing in a top league outside of North America where he’s facing off against men and not his peers.
That makes the ridiculous goal he scored for Kärpät in the Finnish Elite League even more impressive. He shows some incredible puck control, great acceleration and some fantastic mitts.
Watch the play below.
Top 2016 draft prospect Jesse Puljujärvi just scored this silky smooth goal in the Finnish Elite League. Nice. https://t.co/Qpa53BB59v
