Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Anton Stralman went down with an ugly injury in the first period of Friday’s game against the New York Islanders.
Battling in front of the net, Stralman was pushed over and gets his leg caught under himself for an awkward spill that sent him off the ice.
The Lightning announced between periods that Stralman would not return to the game due to a lower-body injury.
