Ben Bishop Unlikely to Suit Up For Game 4

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop is unlikely to play during Friday’s Game 4 contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Tampa. He’s still laid up with a lower-body injury after being stretchered off the ice in Game 1.

Bolts coach Jon Cooper told the media Thursday that Bishop is “in that doubtful range,” putting a positive spin on it by noting, “That’s better than being out.” Indeed it is.

Bishop wasn’t a full participant in Thursday’s practice. He partook in some drills and then spent the rest of the skate watching his teammates.

The Lightning enter Game 4 with a 2-1 series deficit to the Pens.
