Commenting Policy

Comments are welcomed and encouraged on this site, but we will not tolerate trolls, bots, spam, idiots, morons or assholes. If you’re one of those, don’t bother. If you’re someone who just wants to engage in some fun hockey discussions/debates/hot takes/chatter, then join the party.

Here are some instances where comments will be edited or deleted:

– Comments deemed to be spam or solely promotional in nature will be deleted. Including a link to relevant content is permitted, but comments should be relevant to the post topic.
– Comments including unnecessary profanity will be deleted. This is hockey, so we know the conversations will not always be G-rated, but we do have limits…and yes, we get to decide those limits.
– Comments containing language or concepts that could be deemed offensive will be deleted. Note this may include abusive, threatening, pornographic, offensive, misleading or libelous language.
– Comments that attack an individual directly will be deleted.
– Comments that harass other posters will be deleted. Please be respectful toward other contributors. We don’t have to agree, but we don’t need to be disagreeable.
– Anonymous comments will be deleted. We only accept comments from posters who identify themselves.

Our basic rule is The Golden Rule…
“Do unto other as you would have them do unto you.”

In other words, treat others the way you’d expect to be treated.

In other, other words…don’t be a jerk.
