Dallas Stars: 2015 NHL Draft Day Preview

The long wait is almost over.  The 2015 NHL Draft kicks off Friday night.  NBCSN will broadcast the first round starting at 6:30pm ET. 2015 Dallas Stars Draft Preview

As previously mentioned in my 3 Reasons for Potential Stars Draft Day Trade article, I won’t be shocked if the Stars trade their pick.  They won’t find immediate help with the #12 overall pick and their most pressing needs (defensive/physical defenseman and goaltending) are available on the trade block. Recently Stars beat reported Mike Heika also suggested the possibility of trading their 1st round pick.

Key Decision Maker: Joe McDonnell Stars Director of Amateur Scouting
