Panthers Acquire Brady Tkachuk From Senators

No, this isn’t clickbait, the Ottawa Senators have traded Brady Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers.

Pierre LeBrun was on it first, reporting that things were moving along and the two teams were finalizing a trade, and Elliotte Friedman confirmed it shortly after.

This means that the Tkachuk brothers, Brady and Matthew, will be teaming up together with the Panthers.

Brady, who is 26 years old, scored 22 goals and added 37 assists for 59 points through 60 games last season. Throughout his career, he has scored 213 goals and added 250 assists for 463 points through 572 games.

LeBrun added that the Senators had conversations with several other teams, including the Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights, but Brady wanted to play with the Panthers, and join his brother.

The offseason is now well underway, and this could be one of the most shocking moves the NHL sees this summer, and we haven’t even reached the 2026 NHL Draft yet.
