The Philadelphia Flyers have signed free agent forward Roman Lyubimov to an entry-level contract, the team announced Monday. The team did not disclose the length of the deal or the financial details.
The 24-year-old forward has spent the last six seasons playing in the KHL playing for CSKA Moscow, setting career-high marks with seven goals and 14 assists last season. He ended the year strong, posting four goals and eight points in 15 postseason contests.
He was then a difference maker for Russia’s bronze medal effort at the 2016 World Championship, where he scored four goals and eight points in 10 games.
