Flyers Sign Roman Lyubimov

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed free agent forward Roman Lyubimov to an entry-level contract, the team announced Monday. The team did not disclose the length of the deal or the financial details.

The 24-year-old forward has spent the last six seasons playing in the KHL playing for CSKA Moscow, setting career-high marks with seven goals and 14 assists last season. He ended the year strong, posting four goals and eight points in 15 postseason contests.

He was then a difference maker for Russia’s bronze medal effort at the 2016 World Championship, where he scored four goals and eight points in 10 games.

Details on his contract will be added here as they are made available.
