Monica McAlister is our Wild correspondent.
Monica was born and raised in Michigan but is currently living outside
of Washington D.C. studying Sports Management at George Mason
University. An avid supporter of the American Special Hockey
Association, she spends time volunteering at events in the D.C. area and
promoting ASHA. She has a passion for all things hockey and follows (as much as
possible) the Elitserien (Swedish Elite League) and the SM-liiga
(Finnish League). She is working with others in the Washington D.C.
area to create a hockey gear swap for parents to exchange gear for fast
growing kids in hard economic times. You can follow all of
