44. Matt Clark – Defenseman

Date of birth: October 17, 1990
Place of birth: Lakewood, CO, USA
Ht: 6-3 Wt: 205

One-Timer: Clark registered 23 points in 63 games and was a plus 21, as a rock solid blueliner for the Brampton Batallion. Matt has received an invite to the WJC summer tryouts. His uncle, Ab DeMarco, played 344 games in the NHL between 1969 and 1979 with eight different teams. He is a stay-at-home defender who is very reliable in his own zone, rarely makes mistakes and makes good and solid outlet passes. He has a quiet confidence about him and has a great work ethic, and possesses some upside offensively.
