On Monday, Aug. 24, the New Jersey Devils announced their theme nights and giveaway schedule for 2026-27. This season will feature returning fan-favorites, as well as a brand-new K-Pop Night.
The countdown to Devils hockey continues, and individual tickets will be available to purchase this coming Thursday (Aug. 27) through Ticketmaster. Here is a breakdown of all the can’t-miss dates for the upcoming season.
Fan Giveaways
The Devils will kick off their home opener on Oct. 1 with a giveaway, where all fans at Prudential Center will receive a light-up bam bam courtesy of Citizens. Other festivities to look forward to include the BMW Red Carpet Arrivals at Championship Plaza and Fan Fest, as well as an appearance from NJ Devil, various alumni, live entertainment, and the Woo Crew.
Up next is Military Appreciation Night on Nov. 5 against the St. Louis Blues, where the first 9,000 fans in attendance will receive a military cap on behalf of Prudential Financial. There will also be various other activities throughout the night, such as concourse initiatives and interactive stations.

The Thanksgiving Week Kickoff will take place on Nov. 23, and the first 9,000 fans will take home a Devils Butter Bench. Likewise, there will be a ceremony honoring the High School Hockey State Captains.
On Feb. 20, the Devils will take on the Buffalo Sabres for Youth Hockey Day, with the first 9,000 fans receiving an Arseny Gritsyuk figurine bag tag from RWJBarnabas Health. The afternoon showdown will also honor this year’s recipient of the Dr. John J. McMullen Award.
Mascot Madness will return on March 5, where mascots from around the league will gather at Prudential Center. The first 9,000 fans to show up will receive an NJ Devil night light from MSG Networks.
Fan Appreciation Night returns on April 10 against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the first 9,000 fans in attendance will take home a Luke Hughes bobblehead. The club will round out the season with another Fan Fest celebration at Championship Plaza, as well as the “Jersey off our Backs” program after the game.
The date of the other Devils’ giveaway has yet to be determined, but all fans will receive a commemorative pin from Citizens for the Ring of Honor ceremony.
Theme Nights
The Devils will host their first-ever K-Pop Night on Oct. 22 against the Anaheim Ducks. Fans will be able to enjoy concourse activations, themed music, food, beverages, and in-game content and activations. The following day, artist TAEMIN will be performing at Prudential Center.
Devils Youth Foundation Night will take place on Dec. 9, honoring community partners and participating youth hockey programs. Fans can take part in auctions for exclusive merchandise, including player bags and autographed items.

The third-annual Devils Down The Shore Night is set for Dec. 17. This fan-favorite event will feature numerous summer-themed contests and live entertainment.
Finally, Hockey Fights Cancer Night is slated for Jan. 9 versus the Chicago Blackhawks, when Prudential Center will raise money and awareness in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health. All fans will receive a placard to participate in a special in-game moment.
Other Community Initiatives
Throughout the season, the Devils will also honor a number of cultural and community initiatives. These will include a Newark Celebration (Nov. 18), Pride (Jan. 19), Black History (Feb. 23), and Hispanic Heritage (March 29). Other communities and groups will be featured as well, with even more to be announced at a later date. Some other celebrations will include Jewish Community Night, Women in Sports, and three sensory-friendly games for the Autism community. All events will take part in unique storytelling, with a commitment to diversity.
