When EA Sports announced its feature set for NHL 17, it also announced changes coming to the already incumbent modes that have been in the franchise for quite some time.
Modes that see improvements are EASHL, Hockey Ultimate Team, Be-A-Pro and a revamped Be-A-GM that has been renamed to Franchise mode. You can check out the improvements to popular modes below courtesy of EA Sports via press release.

You can’t judge a team by their looks, but it doesn’t hurt to look good. Use the all-new team customization tool to edit to your team’s entire uniform, including patterns, colors, patches and logos to use in season play, when relocating a team in Franchise Mode, or to build your EASHL team identity.
