Marian Hossa “Could Miss Some Time”

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa “could miss some time” according to coach Joel Quenneville on Saturday. Hossa was injured in Saturday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks after taking a big hip check from Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm.

Hossa went down after taking the hit and crashing awkwardly into the boards. He had to be helped off the ice and wasn’t putting weight on his left leg.

After the game Quenneville said that they don’t expect the injury to be long-term.

The 37-year-old winger has 10 goals and 28 points in 53 games this season.
