Minnesota Wild 2016-17 Preseason Schedule Announced

The Minnesota Wild 2016-17 preseason schedule was revealed Tuesday, with a six-game slate featuring three home and three away games.

The slate will include a home-and-home against division rivals, the Colorado Avalanche and the Winnipeg Jets. They will also play host to the Carolina Hurricanes and Minnesotan defenseman Justin Faulk.

Kicking off their preseason will be a road game against the Buffalo Sabres at a yet to be determined location. No hand has been tipped as to whether that’s just because of a potential schedule conflict or if the game will be held at a special location.

For Wild fans, all preseason games will be broadcast on KFAN 100.3 FM. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, August 25 at 10am.

Here’s the full preseason slate:
Monday, September 26 — @ Buffalo Sabres (location TBD)
Tuesday, September 27 — vs. Colorado Avalanche
Thursday, September 29 — @ Winnipeg Jets
Sunday, October 2 — vs. Carolina Hurricanes
