in case you missed it, the first shots have been fired in the round 2 series between the washington capitals and the new york rangers (on social media, anyway). beginning immediately after the caps eliminated the islanders in game 7 monday night, the rangers’ official twitter feed stopped using capital letters…

the first tweet was pretty subtle, so not many picked up on it. as the account sent more tweets during the day on tuesday it became more and more obvious, as though they were channeling e.e. cummings…
