The St. Louis Blues will face the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday without forward Paul Stastny, defenseman Jay Bouwmeester or goaltender Jake Allen. All three were injured during Friday’s shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks.
Both Stastny and Bouwmeester left the game with upper-body injuries during the first period. Allen left later in the game after being run over in the net. He stayed in the game for a bit, but he gave a stretch breakout pass for a Troy Brouwer and labored back to the net afterward. Brouwer scored and at the whistle, Allen went to the bench and left the game.
The team gave no update on the status of the trio further than that. All three will be evaluated in St. Louis on Monday.
Stastny, Bouwmeester and Allen will not play tonight and will be evaluated by the medical staff on Monday in St. Louis. #stlblues

It goes without saying that losing even just one of these three for an extended period would be a horrible situation for the team. The Blues have lost the seventh most man games to injury this year.
