Know An AHL Team: Rockford IceHogs

There are 30 AHL member clubs, affiliated with 30 NHL teams.  Here we take a look, a snapshot if you will, at those cities and teams that makeup the American Hockey League.  Let’s take a look at the Rockford IceHogs.

Since 2007, the city of Rockford has been home to the top affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks.  In that time the IceHogs have a franchise record of 201-155-0-13-27.  Three times the IceHogs have made the playoffs and three times they have won over 40 games.  Prior to Rockford, the Blackhawks top prospects were housed in Norfolk.
