Corey Crawford
He was terrific in a 2-1 win at Vancouver Saturday night. The Canucks had the better of the scoring chances, but Crawford outplaying the Canucks’ Roberto Luongo made the difference. Perhaps this will assuage concerns that Crawford is fatigued due to playing too much (however, his numbers as of late would seem to give merit to those concerns regardless of this one good performance).

Joel Quenneville on Marian Hossa's family matter: "I think it's OK, but I don't know yet." #Blackhawks

Hossa and his wife Jana had a baby girl, Zoja, recently. There hasn’t been an indication as to what exactly the family matter was.
Jeremy Morin Not Being Given A Chance
Morin played only 4:58 in Saturday’s matchup against the Canucks. For comparison, Brandon Bollig played 12:49 (his second-highest total of the season). Morin is superior to Bollig in every facet except dropping the gloves, which is an entirely unimportant skill in the context of this comparison. Quenneville doesn’t seem to be giving Morin much of an opportunity. Sitting Morin and continuing to throw Bollig out on the ice in a game which the Hawks were trailing for most of the first two periods is a bizarre decision to say the least. It certainly seems like a trip back to Rockford is in store for Morin when Michal Handzus returns against Calgary or Edmonton next week.
