Valeri Ivanovich Nichushkin (born March 4, 1995) currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche. He was selected by the Dallas Stars in the first round, 10th overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Nichushkin played for Dallas from 2013-2016, and then played for CSKA Moscow in the KHL for two seasons before returning to the Stars for the 2018-19 campaign. He signed as a free agent with the Avalanche in 2019.
