The Buffalo Sabres have recalled Alexander Sulzer. He rejoins the senior team for his second call up of the season. In 10 games with the Rochester Amerks, the German defenseman has two goals and five assists for seven points.
It appears he’ll be taking the place of Cody McCormick who wasn’t present at the team’s practice today.
As Bucky Gleason of the Buffalo News points out, Sulzer will be a welcome addition to the lineup.
#Sabres calling up Sulzer. Smart player who can provide much-needed help getting puck out of the zone.
