Jiri Bicek (born December 3, 1978) is a former Slovakian ice hockey player, having played his final year in the NHL with the New Jersey Devils during the 2003-2004 season. Drafted 131st overall by the Devils in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, Bicek immediately made the jump to North America to play for New Jersey’s minor-league affiliate Albany River Rats. In three seasons, he registered 32 goals and 123 points in 209 games. He made his NHL debut in the 2000-01 season, playing in five games and scoring one goal. He spent the remainder of the year in the American Hockey League (AHL) for the majority of the next two seasons.

In the 2002-03 season, Bicek appeared in a career-high 44 games, registering five goals and 11 points, and appearing in five post-season games. As a member of the Devils 2003 team, he was part of a Stanley Cup Championship, earning a ring after spending six seasons with the organization. He returned for one more year, playing just 12 games with the Devils, before returning to Europe to continue his hockey career.

Bicek played 14 seasons mixed across several European leagues. His first two seasons were split between the Slovakian league and the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). After brief stints in Switzerland, Finland, and one more year in Sweden, Bicek played three seasons in the Czechia league before returning home to Slovakia. His final five seasons of his career were represented as a member of the HC Kosice team, where he helped the club capture back-to-back Slovakian Extraliga Championships in 2014 and 2015.
