Kraken Captain Jordan Eberle Returns to the Lineup

The Seattle Kraken have been without their captain Jordan Eberle for 14 weeks. He last saw the ice on Nov. 14 when the Kraken played the Chicago Blackhawks. He sustained a pelvis injury and underwent surgery. After a long healing process, he is finally back in the lineup and was activated off of injured reserve today, Feb. 22.

Before his injury, Eberle only played in 17 games. He tallied 11 points with six goals and five assists. Despite being out for such a long stretch of games, he has more points than players who have played a majority of the games this season. He outperforms Tye Kartye, who has played in 49 games. He also has a higher point total than Josh Mahura, who has laced up for 45 games this season. Kartye has seven points via three goals and four assists, while Mahura has six points from six assists.

The Kraken have been lacking in the scoring department lately. Hopefully, a two-week break and the return of their captain will get Seattle back into fighting shape as they prepare to take on the Florida Panthers.
