The NHL preseason schedule was announced Wednesday. It’s a 15-day day, 106-game slate that kicks off September 25 with the St. Louis Blues facing the Columbus Blue Jackets in two split-squad games.
Highlighting the preseason are 16 games taking place at neutral sites. Those include two Kraft Hockeyville games and a pair of tilts at NCAA arenas.
Also in that full slate are the first-ever NHL games at two brand new arenas. The Edmonton Oilers will make their debut at Rogers Place on September 26 with a split-squad game against the Calgary Flames. The other arena being christened in the preseason will be Las Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena, future home of the Las Vegas [name to be determined at a later date].
