Latest Rumors:

The Tribune-Review hints the team could go after a defensive-minded blueliner, but they could stand pat and allow a youngster like Derrick Pouliot to claim a full-time spot on the roster.

Boedker is caught in the crossfire of a negotiation that is not going well. With 24 days left before the NHL’s trade deadline, there has been no movement on a new deal and nothing is imminent, raising the very real possibility that Boedker will not be with the team next season — or even next month.

According to Christopher Boucher from Montreal-based analytics firm Sportlogiq, Reimer’s “red-zone” save percentage – the percentage of shots he has stopped right in front of the goal – is .835, which is second only in the NHL to Washington’s Braden Holtby.
