Video: Hilary Knight Scores First Ever Boston Pride Goal

In the second National Women’s Hockey League game on Sunday — the opening day of the inaugural season — the Boston Pride played a roadie against the Buffalo Beauts.

The Pride got the best of the Beauts early, leading 3-0 after two periods of play and outshooting the Beauts 29 to 15. But it was U.S. National Team star Hilary Knight who was really stealing the show. She scored the Pride’s first two goals, including the first goal in team history.

Stephanie Vail captured Knight’s flyby after the goal from the free live stream provided by the NWHL.

Here’s a look at Knight’s second of the game.

And the Jordan Smelker goal that made the game 3-0 in favor of the Pride.

Amanda Pelkey then scored to make it 4-0.
